Gale Harmon

Maggie Valley-Gale Christine Harmon, age 58, of 1061 Moody Farm Road, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at her residence. A native of Miami Beach, Florida, she had lived in Haywood County for the past 30 years. She was the daughter of the late Hubert H. and Gladys June Burton Traxel. Gale enjoyed her flowers and collectibles. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Harry Michael Harmon; two sons, Mike Harmon and his wife, Brandi, of Largo, FL and Ed Leveritt and his wife, Loana, of Waynesville; one daughter, Denise Finger of Waynesville; one sister, Georgiann Bethea, of Waynesville; one brother, Edwin Traxel and his wife, Maria, of FL; three grandchildren, Holly Harmon, and Paul and Mitchel Leveritt; and two nieces, Alexis and Crystal Bethea. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2007 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
