Fred Schwanewede
February 17, 1945 — June 6, 2018
Waynesville - Frederick Henry Schwanewede, 73, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at The Homestead.
A native of Rockville Centre, New York, he was a son of the late Frederick and Bernadette O'Donnell Schwanewede and a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant having served during the Vietnam era.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jane Talley Schwanewede; one son, Frederick William Schwanewede of Waynesville.
No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haywood Healthcare Foundation (Hospice in memo line of check to apply funds to Hospice), c/o The Homestead, 127 Sunset Ridge Road, Clyde, NC 28721.
