Born on February 24, 1941, in South Carolina, Frank lived a life marked by hard work, kindness, and devotion to his family.
In addition to his parents, James and Annie Lee Tant Hutto, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wilbur Hutton, and sister, Betty Jo Owens. The legacy of love and kindness left behind by Frank will undoubtedly continue to resonate within the hearts of those he leaves behind. Frank Delano Hutto will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Frank's professional journey showcased his commitment to excellence in his field. His contributions as a General Contractor reflected not only his technical skills but also his passion for bringing projects to life. His later career as a heavy equipment operator highlighted his versatility and adaptability, traits that endeared him to colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Frank was a loving husband and a dedicated father. He is survived by his cherished wife, Julie Ann Thompson Hutto; his daughter, Terry Hutto Caldwell; his son, Frank Hutto Jr.; as well as seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, all of whom were immensely important to him and provided him with great joy throughout his life.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on October 20, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville, located at 296 North Main Street, Waynesville, NC. A graveside service will take place on October 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery on Broughton Street, Orangeburg, South Carolina.
