Frances Pressley

Waynesville, Frances Crawford Pressley, age 56, of 50 Polaris Drive, died Monday, November 10, 2008 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Eloise Wyatt Crawford. Mrs. Pressley was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jackie "Dakota" Moore and a brother, Jack Crawford. She is survived by her husband, Reallis Pressley; two daughters, Misty Moore and her husband, James, of Canton and Angela Franklin, and her husband, Michael, of Waynesville; one son, Jeffrey Lyons of Canton; five sisters, Linda Finger, and her husband, Charles of Waynesville; Janet Sands, and her husband, Charlie of Leicester, Rita Winsell, and her husband, Carl of Waynesville, Jean Nations of Maggie Valley and Elizabeth Jaske of Waynesville; three brothers, Ricky Crawford and his wife, Vivian of Canton, Bud Crawford, and his wife, Carolyn of Maggie Valley and Roger Crawford, and his wife, Julia of Briarcliff Manor, NY; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Josh and Nicole Pressley, Jasmine Singleton, Austin, Cheyenne and Kali Moore and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Mahaffey officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
