Frances Huffman

Waynesville-Frankie Huffman, age 34, of Riverbend Street, died Monday, August 4, 2003 at her residence.

A native of Hampton County, Virginia, she had lived in Haywood County since 1997. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Elizabeth Huffman and a stepbrother, Bobby Edmonds. She enjoyed crafts, flower arranging, and rides on the parkway.

She is survived by her father, Robert A. Huffman, of Dobson, NC; a son, Karry Huffman, of the home; a grandmother, Elizabeth Huffman, of Hazelwood; two sisters, Zinna Walls of King, NC and Robin Huffman of Newport News, Virginia; a brother, Michael Huffman, of Dobson, NC; four stepbrothers, David and Ricky Edmonds of Sandy Ridge, NC and H.P. and Danny Edmonds of Hampton, Virginia; and an aunt and caregiver, Sue Dobbins, of Hazelwood.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 8, 2003 at Rocky Branch Cemetery with Reverend G. W. Jameson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Friday prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville and at other times, the family will be at the home of Elizabeth Huffman, 199 Belle Meade Street, Waynesville.
