Evelyn Morris

Spring Creek, Evelyn Price Morris, age 59, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at her residence. A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Zora Strickland Price. Evelyn enjoyed ceramics, crafts, and cooking. She was a member of Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Ron Morris; one brother, Reverend Jimmy Moore and his wife, Eva, of Spring Creek; four nieces, Judy Higel, Heather Gunter, and Grace and Baylee Morris; and four nephews, Jeffery Moore, Scotty McFalls, and A.J. and Will Morris; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Moore and Reverend Gerald Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Woody Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville.
