Ethel Moore

Ethel Kell Moore, age 85, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. She was a native of Rabun County, Georgia and the daughter of the late William Lester and Elizabeth Paralee Chastain Kell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Luther Moore who died in 1986; six sisters; and two brothers. She retired from American Enka Corp. with 15 years of service as a machine operator and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons, Jerry Moore and his wife, Gail, of Brevard, Gary Moore and his wife, Phyllis, of Candler, Bruce Moore and his wife, Ellen, and Ronnie Moore and his wife, Pam, all of Canton; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Virgil Holloway and Reverend Curtis Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence of her son, Bruce Moore, 8 Fourth Street, Canton.
