Emily M. Bradley

Waynesville, Emily McCracken Bradley joined her beloved husband in heaven on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

Emily was born in Bowlegged Valley in the Crabtree Community to Gussie Medford McCracken and Weaver H. McCracken.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the love of her life for 62 years, Richard "Dick" Bradley; two brothers, Weaver H. McCracken, Jr. and Harry B. McCracken, Sr.; one sister, Doris McCracken Tucker; two nephews, Ned Tucker, Jr. and Gerry McCracken.

Emily was a precious and wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Mother-in-Law.  Emily was a life-long homemaker, and the best Wife and Mother ever.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waynesville.  Emily was an avid Golfer and member of the Waynesville County Club.

Emily will be sorely missed by her children, Lynn Bradley, and his wife, Tammy; Susan Bradley Breese, and her husband, Ron; grandchildren, Melissa Breese Palmer, and her husband, Dustin; Bradley Hume Breese and Krista Bradley; and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in the First United Methodist Church of Waynesville.  Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.  A private burial will be held at Green Hill Cemetery following the service.
