Elzear Robarge

Elzear D. Robarge, age 80, died Wednesday, May 06, 2009 at Care Partners Hospice. A native of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Raymond and Lillian Mabus Robarge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a half brother, Raymond Morkin. Elzear was a United States Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Sue Spencer Robarge; three sons, Phil Robarge and his wife, Deborah, of Jefferson, GA, Barry Robarge and his wife, Linda of Leesville, SC, and Spencer Robarge and his wife, Kathy, of Johnsonville, SC; two brothers, Roger Robarge of Holcombe, WI, and Gary Robarge of LaCrosse, WI; one sister, Arlene McEathern of Chippewa Falls, WI; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McDowell County EMS, 60 East Court Street, Marion, NC 28752.
