Ellen "Louise" Trantham

Clyde, Ellen Louise Trantham, 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Smoky Mountain Health & Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Haywood County she was a daughter of the late Cauley and Gladys Ledford Trantham.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Gerald Trantham; and two sisters, Helen Trantham and Margaret Hannah.  Louise was a member of Belmont Baptist Church.  She loved listening to music and was a dialysis survivor of 20 years.  Louise enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Louise is survived by a daughter, Donna Arrington, and her husband, Rick, of Clyde; a son, Jordan Cauley Trantham, of Clyde; two brothers, Carroll Trantham, and his wife, Joyce, of Waynesville and Joe Trantham, of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Brandon Arrington, Caleb and Makayla Trantham; nephews, Rodney Hannah, and his wife, Carla, Cody Trantham, and his wife, Christina, Kevin Trantham, and his wife, Sandy; and a niece, Terry Lynn Messer.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Moore and Reverend Ronald Greene officiating.  The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
