Waynesville, Elizabeth Marie Greene, born on February 4, 2024, fell asleep in God’s care on the same day. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece, and great-grandchild who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Gary and Caroline Greene; Uncle Levi Ensley and Aunt April Ensley.
Elizabeth, though her time with us was brief, brought immense joy to the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her grieving parents, Michael and Laura Ensley Greene and a brother Reuben Waitsel Greene. Their world has been forever changed by Elizabeth's passing, yet they hold onto cherished memories and an undying love for their precious daughter. Elizabeth's grandparents, Kevin and Alice Ensley are also devastated by this loss. Their hearts ache with sorrow as they grapple with the pain of losing such a precious member of their family. In addition to her immediate family members, Elizabeth is survived by her beloved paternal great-grandparents Earl & Easter Greene and Toni & George LaPierre and maternal great grandmother Iris Hipps Ensley. The loss of little Elizabeth has left a void in their lives that can never be filled. Elizabeth’s extended family also mourns the loss of this bright star. She is also survived by her uncle Jonathan Greene (Kayla) along with aunt and uncles Megan Shelton (Owen), Kalam Ensley, and Jared Ensley (Kalei).
Elizabeth's life will be honored with a private graveside service.
Elizabeth Marie Greene's time on this earth may have been brief, but her memory will forever be etched in our hearts and minds. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace and may the memories of her provide solace to all those who mourn her untimely departure.
