Elbert Warren

Candler - Elbert Kay Warren, 76, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.

A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late James Warren and Eleanor Morgan Norris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William Joseph Warren. Elbert was a United States Navy veteran having served during peace time. He retired from Enka and BASF Manufacturing with 30 years of service. Elbert enjoyed fishing, camping, music, and was an accomplished musician playing many different instruments.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Patricia Walker Warren; one daughter, Andrea Kay Warren of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; three sons, Michael Edward Warren of Savannah, Georgia, Joshua Lane Warren and Alysia of Easley, South Carolina, and Korey Colton Warren and Micaela of Candler; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack W. Collins and Reverend Greg Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
