Edward Lambert

Waynesville, Edward "Eddie" Elby Lambert, 46, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at CarePartners. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he had lived in Haywood County for seventeen years. He was the son of Sonny Lambert and Georgeann Fekete. Eddie owned and operated Lambert Concrete and Finishing, he enjoyed boating on Fontana Lake and attending cookouts with family and friends. Eddie is survived by his wife, Cheryl, of Asheville; a daughter, Brittany Rittenberry, of Asheville; two brothers, Bobby and Mark; a granddaughter, Hope, and another granddaughter on the way. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Maurice Sheehan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
