Edward Ford

Clyde, Edward Charles "Buddy" Ford, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Ott and Lyda Medford Ford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Ford, Wilma Ford and Eloise Bumgardner. Buddy worked for many years in the maintenance department with Champion Motor Company, which later became Ken Wilson Ford. Buddy is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Marie Ford and Clara Jo Ford, both of Clyde. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Paul Brown and Reverend Michael Nations officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
