Edith Stewart

Edith Johnson Stewart, 86, of Candler, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019. A native of Asheville, she was the daughter of the late Harley and Allie Dills Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sloan E. Stewart, and brothers, Robert, Burrell and Charles Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Larry) Murray, Barbara Derrick and companion, Phillip Hall, and Johnathan Michael Hansen; grandchildren, Catherine O'Donnell, Joel Scotty Hansen, and Terri Jarratt; great grandchildren, Seth and Micah Banty, Blake and Taylor Jarratt and Ashley Noelle Hansen and Ryan Scotty Hansen; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Christine Baker, Hazel Murray, and Alice Morgan and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, April 18 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
