Dustin Goodson

Waynesville, Dustin Dean Goodson, age 31, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2021.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Tina Pressley and the late Tony Dean Goodson.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clyde Ray Pressley, and paternal grandparents, John and Leona Goodson. Dustin was known to be an outdoorsman, spending much of his time enjoying hunting, fishing, and digging ginseng.

In addition to his mother Tina (Howard Clark), he is survived by his son, Caine Goodson; maternal grandmother, Patsy Sherrill Pressley; a stepsister; two half-sisters; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021, in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Phillip Wyatt officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

The care of Mr. Goodson has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
