Canton, Dudley Denver Williams, age 82, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
A native of Haywood County, he was a son of the late Joe and Leona Sales Williams. Dudley was a member of West Canton Baptist Church. He enjoyed NASCAR, traveling and especially collecting antique furniture.
Dudley is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Owenby Williams; daughter, Linda Lee Williams and son, Daryl Dudley Williams, all of Canton; sister, Bernice Crowder, of Waynesville; brother, Rayburn Williams, of Johnson City, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Clara Williams; and one granddaughter, Payton, Crowley.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Horizon Mausoleum at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jonathan Blaylock officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:30 prior to the service at the funeral home.
