"Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather" Canton – Doyle Warren, age 78, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center in Asheville. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Carl Miller Warren and Elsie Mae Inman Warren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Warren. He was a US Army veteran. Doyle retired from Champion International as a shipping clerk with 41 years of service and following his retirement, he worked five years with Haywood County Waste Management. Doyle was a special man who will be remembered as being selfless and humble, always placing the needs of his family, friends and even strangers above his own. He was devoted to his family and was a wonderful husband and father. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and was extremely proud of each of them and their individual talents and accomplishments. Doyle was a dedicated member of Crestview Baptist Church where he previously served as a deacon. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Lois Trull Warren; a daughter, Sharon Warren Cagle and her husband, Stacy; two sons, Richard Warren and his wife, Rhonda and Norman Warren and his wife, Amy all of Canton; four sisters, Lily Hyder of Hendersonville, Joan Stines and her husband Harold, Eva Mae Stines and her husband, Kenneth and June Burgess all of Canton; nine grandchildren, Adam Warren, Emily Warren, Rebecca Warren, Rachel Warren, Holly Warren Mason Fox, Tanner Fox, Walker Fox and Taylor Cagle; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Also, he leaves behind a special dog, Buddy, his constant companion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Crestview Baptist Church with Reverend Dan Page, Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby, and Reverend Ned Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
