Doyle Green

Waynesville, Doyle Dane Green, 72, went to be with the Lord, March 1st, 2022.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Arvile and Ethel Green. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Anthony Dane Green and brothers, Doug and Ronnie Green.

Doyle was a partner and caregiver at Richland Community Care along with his wife Brownie. He loved his thrift store, scratch offs, and giving out peppermint candy. Doyle never met a stranger and loved his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish his life is his wife, Bronwyn "Brownie" Pruitt Green; his son, Doyle Green, Jr. "DJ"; his daughter, Dana Green; his grandchildren, who he loved dearly, Shelby Knight, Noah Knight, and Bently Green; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 13, 2022 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Homes with Ryan Jacobson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

The care of Mr. Green has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
