Doug Sarasin

Douglas Dean Sarasin, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Petoskey, Michigan, he was the son of the late Stuart and Mary Meyers Sarasin. Doug worked on the Alaska Pipe Line as a quality control inspector. He also worked for the Chicago Bridge & Iron Company and traveled to various countries relating to his job. He is survived by his wife, of 23 years, Lori Young Sarasin; three sisters, Alice Ross and Kathleen Sarasin, both of Indiana and Carolyn Rostar of Petoskey, Michigan; and one brother, Joseph Sarasin of Petoskey, Michigan. A private memorial service will be held.
