Dorothy "Dale" Hall Frady

Clyde, Dorothy "Dale" Hall Frady, 85, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at her home. 

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Hamilton Aldeen and Mary Louise Farmer Hall.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Frady, who died in 2019; two sisters, Mary Chase DeWeese and Louella Stewart; and one brother, Hamilton Aldeen Hall, Jr.  Dale was employed by Haywood County Schools for 23 years as Secretary of Tuscola High School.  She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.  Dale loved reading, crossword puzzles, and her involvement in church music in several churches over the years.  Dale was a career United States Air Force Veteran spouse and enjoyed her family most of all.

Dale is survived by one daughter, Desi Taylor (Reverend Steve Taylor); three sons, Alan Frady (Donna), Gary Frady (Tammy), and Jimmy Frady (Lesa); nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Taylor officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church.    

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
