Waynesville, Doris Lee Meadows Fernando, age 60, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Nancy Rhodarmer Meadows. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy K. Meadows. Doris enjoyed shopping, spending time with her cats and eating Chinese Food.
Doris is survived by her husband, of 30 years, Joe Fernando; daughter, Roseanna Fernando; two sisters, Shonda Garrett (Don) and Kathy Lanning (Dale); and one grandson, Bentley Mershon.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Allison Cemetery with Reverend Terry Green officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
The care of Mrs. Fernando has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
