Doris Beck

Waynesville, Doris Anne Blalock Beck, age 86 passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Haywood House in Canton. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Agnes Swayngim Blalock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis C. Beck; two sisters, Patsy Pope and Margaret West and a brother, Billy Blalock. She is survived by a son, Steve Beck and his wife, Vickie of Waynesville; a granddaughter, Sara Phillips and her husband, Micah and one great-grandson, William Samuel Phillips. At her request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Veterans Organization of one's choice.
