Donnie Davis

Asheville - Donnie Davis, 68, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville.

A native of Buncombe County, Donnie was raised by the late Francis Hipps Justice. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Davis and was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Era. Donnie retired from the United States Postal Service and loved to go fishing in the Davidson River and local area fishing holes.

He is survived by one daughter, Mandi Hamilton and husband, Cliff, of Asheville; one son, Michael Davis of Asheville; three brothers, Niles and Bill Justice, both of Candler and Michael Justice of Asheville; and six grandchildren; Brittney, Halie, Stephanie, Georgia, Dallas and Zowie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Brad Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
