Maggie Valley, Donald Meeks, age 73, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Vero Health & Rehabilitation.
A native of Georgia, he was a son of the late Mildred Brown McIntyre. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Jimmy Lee Meeks. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed taking care of his dogs.
Donald is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gloria Moon Meeks; daughter, Donna Harris (James); son, Donald Meeks, Jr. (Samantha); six grandchildren, Breanna, Trevor, Caleb, Landon, Jolynn and Angela.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The care of Mr. Meeks has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
