DON C. VAN ANGLEN

Maggie Valley-Donald Cornell Van Anglen, age 85, died Thursday, January 16, 2003 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of New Brunswick, New Jersey, he had lived in Pompano Beach, Florida, prior to moving to Maggie Valley in 1986. He was the son of the late Lewis Martin and Mable Anderson Van Anglen. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Latham Van Anglen, who died in 1992, a son, Peter Kent Van Anglen, and a brother, Kenneth B. Van Anglen. He was a sales engineer for the aircraft industry.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna Martin, and her husband, Bill, of Lantana, Florida; a brother, Richard L. Van Anglen, of Keno, Oregon; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pathways To Independence, an organization for the physically challenged, at 4360 Northlake Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, Florida 33410.
