Diana Alvear

Diana Maria Murray Alvear, age 27, of the Cruso Community, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Mission Hospitals Memorial Campus. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of Angela Maria McCall and Nicholas Edward Porter. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of nine years, RoyRey Alvear; one daughter, Brianna Maria Murray of Canton; three sons, Angelo Malachi Alvear, Jacob Nicholas, and Matthew Isaiah Murray, all of Canton; one sister, Amy "Boo" Porter of Canton; maternal grandmother, Dinah Green and her husband, Ray, of Canton; maternal grandfather, Larry McCall I and his wife, Carolyn, of Raytown, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Mary Ferro and her husband, Phil, of Grove, Oklahoma; maternal great-grandmother, Edna Wilson of Candler; and a special aunt, Staci McCall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
