Dennis Clark

Waynesville, Dennis Wayne Clark, age 64, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at his residence.

A native of Key West, Florida, he was a son of Irene Garris Barrow and the late Louis Clark.  Dennis proudly served in the United States Navy.  He worked in the food service industry for many years, as a cook and bartender in resorts and fine dining.  Dennis volunteered at the American Legion and was a member of the Son of the Legion.  He enjoyed golfing and his grandchildren, of which all were here two weeks ago for a visit.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jana Clark; two daughters, April Brooks, and her husband, Nick and Corrie Chansler; son, Tony Clark, and his wife, Amp; sister Lisa Meadows, and her husband, Shawn; brother, Robert Clark, and his wife, Jennifer; two half-brothers, Tony Walker and Roland Clark; four grandchildren, Ayla, Morah, Annabell and Abigail; and his fur baby Pita Marie.

The care of Mr. Clark has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
