Dennis Sanford

Dennis Charles Sanford, age 82, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Harold and Myrelda Knapmiller Sanford.  Dennis was a golf enthusiast and enjoyed playing at Lake Junaluska Golf Course.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carolyn Sanford; daughter, Melissa Maddox; son, Craig Sanford; four grandchildren, Josh Bryant, Kyle Bryant, Brian Sanford and Samatha Bryant; five great-grandchildren, Asher, Brydean, Finn, Carson and Olivia; all of Cartersville, Georgia.

Memorial service to be held in Cartersville, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, 31 Glendale Avenue, Asheville, NC  28803.

The care of Mr. Sanford has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
