David Ingram

Waynesville, David Raymond Ingram, age 71, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Florida, he was a son of the late Robert and Doris McCullough Ingram.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Ingram.  David proudly worked 20 years as a firefighter for the Seminole Fire Rescue.  Driving the fire truck was not only a privilege, but one of his favorite activities in the workday.  David enjoyed spending time at the beach, spending time with family and working on cars and trucks.  He always had a special place in his heart for his 1964 Chevy Nova.

David is survived by his wife of 45 years, Nancy Reid Ingram; daughter, Courtney Ingram of Waynesville; son, Jeremy Ingram, and his wife, Kelley "Kate", of Ft. Myers, FL; brother, Robert Ingram of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Sally Reid; three brothers-in-law, Bob Reid, Ted (May) Reid, and Bill Reid; three grandchildren, Caiden, Juliette, and Samuel; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
