David Crawford

DAVID LYNN CRAWFORD

Waynesville-David Lynn Crawford, age 37, of Iron Duff Road, died Monday, September 16, 2002 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Johnnie and Clara Pless Crawford of Waynesville. He graduated from Tuscola High School and received a machinist degree from Haywood Community College. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ned W. and Emma Dotson Crawford.

Surviving other than his parents, is a brother, Gary N. Crawford of Kernersville, NC; his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Noland Pless, of Waynesville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at Antioch Baptist Church, which he attended, with the Reverend Steve Taylor and Reverend Kevin Valentine officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy, Tim, and Bryan Ferguson, Martin Clark, Jeff Leopard, and Mark Goolby. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
