Danny Lane Jackson

Danny Lane Jackson, age 75, of Canton, passed away peacefully in Hospice care at Silver Bluff in Canton on June 22, 2025. He was born on June 12, 1950, to Gene Jackson and Betty Jackson of the Beaverdam Community in Canton.

Danny retired from Haywood County Hospital, where he was in Nuclear Medicine. He loved being outdoors camping, fishing and riding motorcycles. Danny had a passion for music, he had been in many bands throughout his life, but loved playing guitar in the worship band at Pinnacle Church, Canton.

He is survived by his daughter, Amy Norman and her husband Duane. Two Granddaughters, Sarah Conard and her husband Jarod; Rachel Sutton and her husband Robert. Three Great Grandchildren, Jett Conard, Jensynn Conard, and Neyland Sutton. Danny is also survived by two brothers Michael Jackson and Patrick Jackson.

A Celebration of life will be held at Pinnacle Church in Canton on Thursday, July 10 at 6 pm to 8 pm. Burial will be held at Beaverdam Baptist Cemetery at 4 pm.

The care of Mr. Jackson has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville
