Waynesville, Daniel Ray Ledford, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at his home.
A native of Haywood County, he was the son of Linda Ledford Silvers, and the late Clarence Silvers. He enjoyed talking with people and being a mechanic, he took great pride in helping his family and friends with lawn equipment and vehicles.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his grandmother, Zeldimae Clark; two daughters, Kendra and Brandy Lee; and his caregiver, Christy Coward.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend James Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhill cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
