Daniel Gray, Jr.

Daniel Jeffrey "D. J." Gray, Jr, age 24, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. A native of Haywood County, he was a son of Daniel Jeffrey Gray, Sr. and Teresa Dianne Mathews Gray. He was preceded in death by a best friend, Boo. D.J. was president and founder of "The Family", his motorcycle family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Samantha Burress Gray; one daughter, Kendall Grace Gray; four sisters, Holly Anderson of Clyde, Christina, Samantha M., and Jackie Gray, all of Waynesville; father and mother-in-law, James and Pam Burress; grandparents-in-law, Reverend James Burress and Andrea; grandmother-in-law, Martha Franklin; Mamaw Irene; sister-in-law, Brittany Burress; maternal grandmother, Linda Mathews; paternal grandmother, Edith Caldwell; three nieces, Karsyn, Lily, and Chatierra; two nephews, Konner and Blayke; many cousins and a large loving family and extended family. Private family services will be held.
