Cynthia Anne Pace Creasman, age 82, of Canton, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on April 8, 2026.

A native of Haywood County, Cynthia was born on September 27, 1943, to the late Frank Alfred Creasman and Alma Robinson Creasman. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vinson Pace, who passed away on February 13, 2008; her sister, Carolyn Summey; and her brother, Ronnie Creasman.

Cynthia graduated from Clyde High School in 1961. She then worked at Champion/Blue Ridge Paper Mill, where she served as a Personnel Coordinator for over 20 years. She attended Crestview Baptist Church in Canton.

She enjoyed traveling, going to look at old cars, going “junkin’,” looking at old barns, and bird watching. Above all else, Cynthia loved her family, and being with them brought her the greatest happiness.

She is survived by her daughter, Robyn Pace Putnam (Robert); her son, Robbie Pace, Jr. (Carol); four grandchildren; T.J. Troughton (Meredith), Crystal Christy (Zack), Ethan Pace (Krista) and Logan Pace (Maci); seven great-grandchildren; Eli, Ella, Sawer, Callen, Lincoln, Lucy and Isla, along with 5 Sister-in-laws, 3 brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews along with many friends who will cherish her memory.

The family would like for Cynthia to be remembered for the life she lived and the love she gave. As written by her family, “Save the memory of her life, not her death. The body is but the vessel that carried her soul and warmth.”

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made payable to Crestview Baptist Church at 3258 Pisgah Drive, Canton, NC 28716 to support their youth group.

A Celebration of Life in Cynthia’s honor will be announced at a later date.
