Curtis Swafford

Curtis Paul Swafford, 68, of Candler passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at his residence.  A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late John Swafford and Edna Shepard Griffin.

Curtis was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam War.

He is survived by his children, Crystal Loudy and her husband, Daniel Bryan Loudy of East Flat Rock; son, Jonathan Swafford of Hendersonville; sister, Patricia Smith of Canton; three brothers, Ralph Swafford of Candler, David Swafford of Candler and Jerry Swafford of Florida; three half-brothers, Ronnie Swafford, Donnie Swafford and Johnny Swafford; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Inurnment will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

The care of Mr. Swafford has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Candler.
