Curtis Klebba

Maggie Valley-Curtis Joseph Klebba, age 52, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 at Mission Hospital. He was a native of Detroit, MI and was the son of the late Edmond and Helen Hudson Klebba and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mellisa Mershon, who died in 1997. Curtis was owner of Cozy Corner Motel in Maggie Valley and attended Maggie Valley Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Ruth Klebba, two sons, Thomas Mershon and his wife, Carolyn of Canterbury, CT and Robert Mershon and his wife, Jennifer of Ft. Meyers, FL; one sister, Janet Kazware of FL; two brothers, Jerry Klebba of MI and Denny Klebba of GA; five grandchildren, R.J., Karen, Jordan and McKenzie and Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at Maggie Valley Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Mason officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
