Curtis Allison

Canton - Curtis "Curt" Lee Allison, two months old, died suddenly Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at his residence. He was a native of Haywood County and a son of Sarah J. Grooms and Cain Lee Allison both of Canton. He was preceded in death by a great-uncle, Ralph Dewayne McFalls and a great-grandmother, Hilda Grooms. In addition to is parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Danna Grooms and James McFalls both of Waynesville and Donnie Allison and Lisa Cluff, both of Canton; three great-grandparents, Zelda Rice and Alan Beck of Canton and Katherine McFalls of Waynesville; four aunts, Kendra and Beth Grooms, both of Waynesville, Rachel Allison of Texas, and Britney Cluff of Canton; two great-aunts, Lisa Fowler of Waynesville and Karen Jones of Canton; three uncles, Cody Allison of Texas, Cody Cluff of Canton and Derek Cluff of Banner Elk; two great-uncles, Billy Grooms of Waynesville and William "Tony" Grooms of Canton. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2007 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Easler officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
