Coran Rollins, Jr.

Canton, Coran Stephen Rollins, Jr., 73, of Love Joy Road, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his residence. Born in Haywood County, he was the son of the late Coran Stephen Rollins, Sr. and Lela Mann Rollins and was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Elizabeth Rollins Cannon. Stephen was a US Army veteran and a graduate of King College. He worked for many years at Frank's Grocery in Bethel. Stephen is survived by two nieces, Leslie Pennington of Angier, North Carolina and Beth Cannon of Selma, North Carolina as well as two great nieces and two great nephews. A memorial graveside service and Military Honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Bethel Community Cemetery with Reverend Riley Covin officiating.
