Cole William "Bill" Ensley

Waynesville,  Cole William "Bill" Ensley, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at CarePartners Solace Center.

A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Odell and Augusta Ensley.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Loretta Ensley, who died in 1988.  Bill was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor with Haywood County Schools.  He enjoyed playing ball and fishing with his son.  Bill spent over 35 years enjoying his booth at the Maggie Valley Flea Market. 

Bill is survived by one son, Patrick Ensley and his wife, Shannon Ensley, of Clyde.  He is also survived by grandchildren Anna, Emma, Cora(River), Chloe (Rose), Kirkland, Brittney, Gavin, Dustin and wife Autumn; great grandchildren Kera, Brayden, Hayley, Oskar, Arya, Ryleigh, Paxton.

A private graveside service was held on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
