Clide Stiles

Clide Henson Stiles, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Beulah Fletcher Henson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Stiles, who died in 1983; two granddaughters, Leaetta Caldwell Henson and Yvonne Caldwell; and two great-granddaughters, Tracy and Jennifer Henson. Clide worked at Lake Junaluska Methodist Assembly as a cook and was a member of Pisgah Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Dolores Caldwell of Canton; two grandchildren, Terry and Mark Caldwell; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6, 2011 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Pastor Jake Cagle officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home.
