Christy Mclean

Waynesville, Christy White McLean, 63, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at her home.

Christy was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and spent her life bringing joy to the lives of others.  Christy was known for her entrepreneurial spirit, generosity, and as a champion for children in the foster care system.  Her home was always open to those in need of solace.

Christy is the daughter of Don & Shirley White of Yukon, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray McLean.

She is survived by children, Kathryn Gould, and her husband, Adam, of Waynesville, NC, and James McLean, and his wife, Cathy, of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Donna Heldermon, and her husband, Ray, of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Pam McDaniel, and her husband, Neldon, of Yukon, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Helen Willett of Waynesville and Doris Coffey, and her husband, Mitch, of Virginia; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Gould, Conner McLean, and Kevin McLean; special friend, Michael Pickett; and a large circle of loving family and friends.
