Cheryl Weisner

Cheryl Ann Weisner, 68, of Asheville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. She was born in Salisbury, NC to the late Daniel Jackson Weisner and Margaret Elizabeth Kirk Weisner and was a resident of Asheville for the last 30 years. She was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church and was instrumental in starting "Friends of Jesus" Sunday School Class. Cheryl earned the NC Governor's Award for her many years of volunteer work at DisAbility Partners. She was a beautiful soul that loved watches, coffee, the Carolina Panthers, country music, shopping, and celebrating her birthday with friends. She looked forward to seeing pictures of her family, friends, their pets and hearing stories about them. Later in life, she was a beloved employee at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn and loved her work there putting together information packets.
She is survived by her brother Daniel (Teresa) Weisner; Aunt, Nina Kirk, and many beloved friends.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5:30pm-7:30pm on Thursday, May 25th at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler.
