Charlotte Butt

Clyde, Charlotte Susan Reeves Butt, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Charles Reeves and Veronica Lenagh Reeves.  Charlotte was also preceded in death by her dear husband of 27 years, Donald Butt, who died in 2011; her beloved daughter, Amber Lynn Pietracupa; and her sister, Sharon Lynn McManus-Reeves.

Being an animal rescue advocate was very important to Charlotte and she took care of many lost animals she found.  Charlotte proudly worked at Walmart as an associate for 30+ years and greatly enjoyed meeting members of her town.  She was a friendly, memorable lady and many in her community will miss seeing her.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, June Freeman, and her husband, Angus, of Okeechobee, Florida; nephew, Brian Grimes; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and helpful friend, Myrtle Tobin.

A celebration of life will be held in Spring 2023 in Pennsylvania.

The care of Mrs. Butt has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
