Charles Butler

Canton – Charles Butler, 63, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his residence.

Charles was a native of Lakeland, Florida and a son of the late Clinton and Bobbie Butler.  He had made Haywood County his home for the past 22 years and was a welder by trade.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carrie Jane Butler; daughter, Laura Jane Woolverton (Norman) of Canton; sons, Nathan Butler (Michelle) of Canton and Craig Butler (Tammy) of Clyde; one sister, Joan Tew of Dahlonega, Georgia; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at The Community Kitchen in Canton with Pastor Chris Jennings officiating.
