Charlene Mcelroy

Canton – Ruby Charlene Devlin McElroy, 63, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at her residence.

Charlene was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Charles Clifford and Ruby Lee Devlin.  She loved her tropical fish, reading, and growing flowers.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John McElroy; daughter Pamela Simmons and husband, Jonah, of Lawndale; one sister, Peggy Barrett; and two grandchildren, Nikki Potter and Emily Simmons.

At Charlene’s request no services will be held.
