Chad Setser

Waynesville-Chad Lee Setser, age 27, died Friday, August 13, 2004 at his residence after a valiant battle with cancer. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was a son of Charles L. Setser of Waynesville and Sherie Austin Fowler of Asheville. He was a former employee of Lowes of Waynesville. Chad was a United States Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 6 years, Dawn Stone Setser, two sons, Colby and Canyen Setser of the home, maternal grandparents, Ben and Irma Austin of Arden and paternal grandparents, Rufus and Jean Setser of Waynesville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 15, 2004 at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with Reverend Terry Sprouse and Reverend Dr. Roy Kilby officiating. Burial will follow in the veteran's section of Greenhill Cemetery in Waynesville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
