Carroll Hill

Canton – Carroll Lee Hill, 94, passed away  on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Aston Park Health Care Center.

Carroll was a son of the late Ben and Daisy Leatherwood Hill.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna; two sons, Jessie Joneal and David Lee Hill; and a niece, Angelia Hill.  Carroll was the last of ten children and served in the United States Navy.  He served as the Chief of Police in Clyde and then became the dispatcher for Canton Police Department.  Carroll always told his children that he loved them.  He was a kind and giving father and will miss all of his crazy ways.

He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Ann Ellis; two sons, Earl and Jeff Hill; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

At this time, no services are planned.
