Carolyn Fish

Carolyn Ashe Fish, age 67, passed away on Thursday, August 01, 2013 at The Homestead. A native of Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Essie Alexander Ashe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Coy Ashe. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Joe Fish; one son, Shannon Fish and his wife, Dana, of Canton; six sisters, Geraldine Parker of Washington, Barbara Phillips of Tuckaseegee, Pearlene Brown of Washington, Bea Parker of Brevard, Rena Ensley of Sylva, and Linda Harmon of Old Fort; two brothers, Charles Ashe and Ralph Ashe, Jr., both of Washington; and two grandchildren, Tyler Dawson and Skylar Madison Fish. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2013 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Bruce Cayton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Broyhill Baptist Children's Home, 111 Sneed Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
