Waynesville, Carole Olthoff, 77, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at her home.
A native of Kings County, New York, she was the daughter of the late Larry and Fannie Bleich and was also preceded in death by a brother, Gary Bleich. Carole taught school in the New York City School System and was an assistant teacher in Partners in Education (PIE) in Closter, New Jersey. She was also a Docent at Monmouth Museum in Lincroft, New Jersey and a lifetime member of Hadassah. Carole enjoyed crafts, birds, older classic movies as well as Gilbert and Sullivan musicals and plays.
Carole is survived by her husband of more than 31 years, Bob Olthoff; a daughter, Elizabeth Perachione (Darren), of Champaign, Illinois; a son, Joshua Neustadter (Teena Tyler) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Zoey Perrachione; and a niece, Lori Meyer.
A gathering of Carole's friends will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the Wells Events and Reception Center.
